this is something for another extension or at least for a later time in

this is wrong. click on the table name, choose the fields you need from
the select box, save and click on the field titles in the table header.

to be honest, I don't exactly know because I didn't test it. I guess you
still need a seperate page but no matter, this is not a core feature of
news2. lighbox > seperate extension. It is possible with news2 for sure.
