[TYPO3-ttnews] useSPidFromCategory not working?

Hi,

can anyone confirm the functioning of "Use single pid from categories"?

I am experiencing problems in several TYPO3-Installations to make this 
feature work.

plugin.tt_news.singlePid=69, plugin.tt_news.useSPidFromCategory = 1, was 
set, the first assigned category of a news record has a single-news-page 
assigned (id=70), the tt_news list content element has no 
single-news-page assigned. But still every news is sent to id=69.

Tested with:
- T3 4.1.13, tt_news 2.5.2
- T3 4.2.10, tt_news 3.0.2
