[TYPO3-ttnews] News 3.0.1 installation problems

Hi list,
is there an updated documentation for tt_news 3.0.1?
The current doc under 
http://typo3.org/documentation/document-library/extension-manuals/tt_news/2.5.2/view/1/3/
looks outdated and i get the following error on my news pages:

plugin.tt_news ERROR:
No pid_list defined
No HTML template found
--> Did you include the static TypoScript template ('News settings') for 
tt_news?
####

BUT:

1.i defined pid_list  in my setup:

plugin.tt_news.pid_list >
plugin.tt_news.pid_list = 71


2.i defined my html template wich exists (checked the URL and it's 
displayed):

plugin.tt_news{
	templateFile = fileadmin/templates/ext_templates/news_template.html

3.i included the ('News settings') template

4.i cleared all caches

what am i missing?
