you can also override the append link:
plugin.tt_news.displayList.subheader_stdWrap.append >
plugin.tt_news.displayList.subheader_stdWrap.append = TEXT
plugin.tt_news.displayList.subheader_stdWrap.append.value = my custom more 
link...

you have to make your changes before the plugin is copied to be diplayed.
