Do you mean link in content of the news inserted by editor or by special content like media?
If you want to insert a link via editor just mark the text and use anchor function (small icon with anchor)
First type the text, then mark it with mouse,

Hello List

I have a question i can't answer in my own
When i have a news item with a link to a website outside my site i get a 
text for the page but not a link. Is it porsable to make a link out of it 
instead of a text.
