I can follow your story. However, it gets confusing only because it is
not seen easily In your example) the the constant is a constant.
Clarity lies with the author of the EXT (?)
If I can't seen this:
As example how some TYPO authors do this:
In setup (of the extension - so not so easy visible):
page.includeCSS.newsv3 = {$page.includeCSS.newsv3}

Than how do I (or you) know this constant is there?
