[TYPO3-ttnews] multipage single view and images

Hi list,

i'am using tt_news 2.5.2 and have a single view with pagebrowser. the
manual tells that if a news entry has 6 images, imageCount = 2 and uses
three pages, then the images should be splited to two per page.

but this does not work. instead it shows only the first two images on
each site.
does anybody have the same problem?
