[TYPO3-ttnews] tt_news and TV: the general_storage_pid

hi

to manage complex (or at least with different aspects) tt_news configurations (say as news and as press releases and as articles)
i usually worked with several tt_news sysfolders each one with its own categories.
it could be easily done with the setting of propers general_storage_pid (for category selections)
now that i'm moving all websites to TV the general_storage_pid can't be used anymore for other things..

i could easily put the tt_news categories in the main TV stora ge forlder.. but how to manage several configurations?

i think this is a really step back...

couldn't tt_news create it's own tt_news_storage_pid ?
(or templavoila its own... now i write also in the TV list :)

any other solutions?
