[TYPO3-ttnews] tt-news items and index search

Hi Otto,
When you say that indexed search shows many results for the same article
is that because it is listing each article's SINGLE page as well as the
pages which contain LIST or LATEST display modes? If this is the case
then prevent the LIST and LATEST pages from being indexed by using the
'No search' checkbox in the page properties of each of those pages.
Or can your articles be viewed on multiple SINGLE pages? If this the
case then the problem comes from your setup, each article should only be
accessible through one SINGLE page. You will be penalised for duplicate
content by search engines if this is not done.
You can always fall back on tt_news's SEARCH display mode, the down side
being that it will not rank the results by relevance so the quality of
the search results will not be as good.
