[TYPO3-ttnews] Creating new fields and selector box

A possible client asked

The database can output a text file that compiles into an LWI Annual 
Index all the articles printed over a one-year period. The stories are 
sorted by keywords (Continents, Countries and Subjects).

In plugin tt_news the order can be set sorting order for individual 
instance of tt_news list. Needs some additional in order to add extra 
fields for continents and countries, but can be done easily.

But if the custormer might want a selector to switch order.
There is no selector box to choose the order - adding that might take 
time. Have anybody tried to do such?
