[TYPO3-ttnews] <p> tag in tt_news text field

Hello list

I have Typo3 4.0.2 with tt_news 2.4.0 and rtehtmlarea 1.3.7. In the text 
field everythins seems normal in the backend. But in the frontend the 
<p> tags is gone, and I do not know why.There is noe paragraph 
linebreaks in the text, and no <p> tags in the output HTML.

Maybe I have overlooked something very obvius. I have never had this 
problem before, and I am wondering if anyone has and have a solution to it.
