[TYPO3-ttnews] Parsing different displayList <-> displaySingle ?

My problem is the following:

when I switch typo to russian (or any other kyrillic language) the "more" 
link in the list view works fine,
the "back to list" link in single view gets messed up and shows as:

&#x43d;&#x430;&#x437;&#x430;&#x434; &#x432;

what´s wrong here ?

I ´ve tried to spot the difference in class.tx_ttnews.php - no luck so far.
Any help appreciated !
