[TYPO3-ttnews] Any difference between using Constant Editor and Typoscript Object Browser?

it depends ;-)

a variable from the constant editor can be used at several places in the
setup file or even in multiple setup files. So if you change something in
the setup field which is also present in constants editor it could happen
that only one instance of the var is changed and the others take the value
still from the constant editor.
In case of "pidStorePosts" it seems not to make a difference
