[TYPO3-ttnews] pagebrowser in single view styling/changing possible?

hello list,

i wonder if it´s possible to style the pagebrwoser of tt_news in single view.
all what i tried so far ended in

			<table align="center" cellpadding="2">
				<tbody><tr>
					
					<td class="tx-ttnews-browsebox-SCell" nowrap="nowrap">example</td>

				</tr>
			</tbody></table>
		</div>
can i change it in the way described in example_userPageBrowserFunc.php or is this only for list and latest view?
