[TYPO3-ttnews] target="_blank" on anchors

Hi all,
I noticed that whenever a link to a web page is included in a news, it
gets automatically translated to an anchor, like:

<a href="http://www.anothersite.com/mypage.html"
target="_blank">www.anothersite.com/mypage.html</a>

Unfortunately, the "target" parameter is not valid XHTML 1.0 Strict
code. 
Is there any way to avoid it to be inserted (well, apart modifying
the code, of course)?
