[TYPO3-ttnews] Possible to explicitly select one news item?

Hello everybody,

I have a problem. I know I can select a list of news with the category 
options, but is it possible to manually set a list (or maybe only one 
news) from a news folder to be displayed? (like I can select a specific 
category in the the flexform).

Is it possible without TypoScript but only with flexforms (for my editors)?
