[TYPO3-ttnews] MySQL error using code = SEARCH

Hi,

everything with tt_news (2.2.40) works fine, except the SEARCH function. 
When I insert it I get the following error message:

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL 
result resource in class.t3lib_db.php on line 809
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by 
(output started at class.t3lib_db.php:809) in 
typo3\sysext\cms\tslib\class.tslib_fe.php on line 2703

My research this evening to solve this problem was unfortunately without 
success.
I'd appreciate any idea or hint!
