[TYPO3-ttnews] [GFX][gdlib_png] from 0 to 1. didnt work

hi,
I try to open the testsite i got an error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagegif()

i tried to google this and found the answer but it didnt work for me..
in All Configuration i chaged [GFX][gdlib_png] from 0 to 1.
i am having problem with image display in tt_news.
i tried google,forums & tutorial but cudnt get through.
i m sending u my image configuration.

Freetype DPI: 72 (Should be 96 for Freetype 2)
Mask invert: 0 (Should be set for some IM versions approx. 5.4+)

does this code carries any problem? 
plz tell me what do i do to fix this prob?
