[TYPO3-ttnews] Problem with making translation of news record

Hi

I have a problem which is driving me crazy. First off, I have the 
default language set to english and added Danish as a website language.

In one sysfolder i can make translations of news records by selecting 
"Danish [NEW]" in the language selector at the top right. But in another 
sysfolder the language selector is not displayed, which makes it 
impossible to create a translation of the news record. The two 
sysfolders are placed in the same sysfolder, and have no specific TS.

Have anyone else experienced this problem? And is there a solution?

BTW: T3: 4.0, tt_news:2.3.6
