@Rupi: I was just able to reproduce this, maybe it´s something you can 
take a look at?

When inserting tt_news as plugin the Archive setting (for LIST) quotes:

' [INVALID VALUE 
("LLL:EXT:tt_news/locallang_tca.php:tt_news.pi_flexform.archive_nonarc")] '

This prevents the LIST view from showing anything at all unless you open 
the dropdown and choose something from the list (e.g. 'Don´t Care').
