[TYPO3-ttnews] can't display links in FE (extended tt_news)

Hello,

I have extended tt_news for additional fields. Most of them are text 
fields, but I also have a field containing a link (external url).
How do I configure tt_news to display the field as link?

I added the field with the kickstarter and defined the field as link.
But it is displayed as text. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?
