[TYPO3-ttnews] LIST of last available month by default

Hi all,
I have a page including the following news objects:

ANAME
LIST

When I first open the page, the LIST section displays the list of
all archived news, while ANAME gives the option to select the
archived news for a certain month.
Now, I would like the page to display be default just the list of
the news posted in the last available month (i.e. current month)
instead of the full list of archived news.
Is this possibile? Any hints?
