[TYPO3-ttnews] showRelatedNewsByCategory fails on tt_news 2.2.41

I upgraded my tt_news install to 2.2.41 and now my "Related News by 
Category" links don't show up. The strange thing is it renders the 
wrapper (which should only show when there is related news) and says "no 
news in this list."

I have showRelatedNewsByCategory=1 (the whole wrapper does go away when 
set to 0)

This was working in my previous version of tt_news.
