[TYPO3-timtab] errors when connecting with blog tools

Hello,

I've set up a blog page with typo3 3.8.0, tt_news 2.2.14, ve_guestbook
1.9.6, realurl und timtab 0.5.11, but I cannot retrieve recent posts or
categories with any of the blog tools I tried (MarsEdit, ecto and
w.bloggar, all of them configured for a metaWeblogAPI).


While w.bloggar won't even connect and ecto is having some problems of
its own, MarsEdit will actually post simple text entires. Still it fails 
with getRecentPosts, getCategories and newMediaObject. Both ecto and 
MarsEdit log the following error(s) after each methodcall:

w.bloggar says:
Unable to Parse the XML Response. Parser Reason: In einem XML-Dokument
ist nur ein Element höchster Ebene zugelassen.


In my Timtab-template I pretty much followed the manual, configuring the
page type 200, allowing for both APIs and setting
plugin.tx_timtab_pi2.strictAPI = 1 (tried 0 as well). If anybody wants 
to check the TS in detail I post it, but this mail seems long enough as 
it is. The only real difference to the manual setup is that the blog 
page is at the 3rd level of a bilingual page tree, so I wasn't sure 
about the correct RPC-URL. Could this still be part of the problem?
