[TYPO3-templavoila] Possible to customize NewSiteWizard ? own pagetree/contents ?

Thx for the quick reply Steffen,

I've seen that there is an extension tvfreesite but it's still in alpha,
does this extension still work with 4.2.9, is it still being developed ?

Not sure i will be able to edit/customize the xml, It's a rather massive xml
file, what would be the best way to go about editing this if i only want to:

A/ customize the pageTree (number of pages / names of pages) ?
B/ customize which contents appear on each page
