[TYPO3-templavoila] how to include files that require tv mapping

Hi all

 

I have just undergone the fun(!) task of creating a more accessible html/css
template, and mapping in tv.

 

One of the workarounds I have had to do as a result is include my footer as
a SSI file, as there seemed to be no other easy way to generate a footer
*under* all the other content.

 

The footer also contains data that up until now I have mapped with tv, so my
question is . what is the most efficient way of ensuring the footer appears
on the bottom of all pages? Am I better to call it in the TS template to a
lib.myobject? or to use content elements somehow? It is getting late, and my
brain is starting to go fuzzy.

 

Any hints appreciated.
