after a bit of further research I discovered that I am encoutering a bug 
actually reported by you (0005193) and resolved under TV 1.3.0 (which is 
what I am using with Typo 4.1.1). My user is member of a group with 
disallowed access but still the templates show up. Was there something 
else about it?
