Yeah... I missed that you added COA. TypoScript there is itself a COA. 
Your TS should look like:

> <TypoScript>
>      10 = TEXT
>      10.field = field_containerColor
>      10.wrap = background-color:|;
>      20 = TEXT
>      20.field = field_BorderColor
>      20.wrap = border:solid 1px |;
> </TypoScript>
