[TYPO3-templavoila] "Show content from this page instead": fixed or not fixed?

According to the bugtracker [1], the bug with the "Show content from 
this page instead" feature in the "Edit page properties" dialogue has 
been _fixed_.

I've just tried it on two different 4.0 sites (each running TV 1.0.1), 
and _I_ can't make it work. Am I alone? Is this working for others?
