[TYPO3-templavoila] TV very start, difference IE and Firefox

I just started TV. Am a beginner so various questions still to come and 
hope to get some help. Thanks beforehand.

Made the TV site in accordance with the manual and the standard files in 
the TV manual extension.
I wanted to change the columnwith of TDcontent in the standard template 
from 300 to 580px. In Firefox (even after clearing cache) nothing 
happens. When I opened in IE everything is fine.
