[TYPO3-templavoila] Sharing a DS Among Templates with One and Two Columns

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping there's a solution to a little issue I'm having with TV.  I 
want to create a data structure that two template objects share.  One of 
these template objects has one column of text, the other has two.  No 
problem.

However, it would be super nice if I could set up my DS in such a way 
that when I'm editing a one column page with the TV Page module I only 
see the one column, not both columns.

Anyone know if this is possible?
