[TYPO3-Solr] Problem creating arabic and indonesian cores

Hello,

We are trying to setup websites which use arabic and indonesian cores. These both fail as default configured. It looks like if we delete the "protected " attribute as per the bug reported in the URL that the cores can then come online.

The question is, what sort of problems could (or is) this going to cause us going forward?
