Hi there

To answer my own question: If found out that also translation logging 
can be limited to errors only. This does not really answer the question 
(why is there one transaction log per inserted record), but it solves 
the problem.

It can be disabled in the Solr GUI --> Logging --> Levels --> 
Transaction Log.
