[TYPO3-Solr] sizing solr hardware

Hello,

I am looking for information on how to calculate the hardware requirements for TYPO3 Solr needs. Have not been able to find definative informaiton on this in the web.

Currently working to get the Solr extension setup for one TYPO3 instance, but need to consider all the other (20+) instances we manage.  We have multiple websites & servers, some have a large number of Documents and others not nearly as many.

Can someone provide calculations or information which would assist us?
