[TYPO3-Solr] Indexing Queue: Failures: Where to see what goes wrong?

I tracked the failures down. They came all up from a deactivated site beneath the root site, and it's sub pages.
Is this desired behavior? I guess deactivated sites shouldn't end up in the index queue at all?
