The logging on the extension is activated and devLog installed:

logging {
        exceptions = 1 
         ...
}

That's where I get the info about the error: 
Failed indexing Index Queue item 35503
class.tx_solr_scheduler_indexqueueworkertask.php, line 95

Thank you Birte, I will check the server log files and increase the memory limit in php.ini.
