[TYPO3-Solr] File indexing with version 2.1

hi,

i am still not sure if file indexing for files within fileadmin should 
be possible with the open source version 2.1?
because the wiki says that the option tx_solr.index.files is available 
since 2.0 but the tika wiki says that you need the eap-version.

and if it is possible, are files stored in fileadmin supported and are 
there any further instructions?
