[TYPO3-Solr] autosuggest takes too long to load

Doesn't seem to be a browser issue. I've had a closer look into the file 'eid_suggest/suggest.php'. The ping command takes really long, 5 secs! I've also changed the host to "localhost", hoping that this would speed up things, but still no improvement.

Does that mean that there is something wrong with my Tomcat installation?
