Pascal,
  I found it useful to use the wfqbe extension to set up a page directly
against the database tables to allow certain front-end users the ability to
see all of the details they need in order to keep a handle on registrations.
This page was secured to the specific Front-end group that I'd set up just for
that purpose. The programmers actually have a small section of their manual
that touches on using it with Seminars.

  The hardest part for me was getting the query exactly right.  I kept putting
things out of order or messing up a join and that took a little time to
correct.  Not really hard by any means, but it was a little slow.  :-)
