[TYPO3-RTE] htmlarea a tags output as link tags

The link is inserted using the htmlarea editor. First I type in the
address, then highlight it and press the Insert/Modify Link button and
enter in the link as an external address.

Yes, this is what comes out on the frontend output. One other thing I have
noticed is it only seems to happen in news articles under the tt_news
extension.
