Have you checked already that scriptacolous lib is loaded?

I had numerous occasions where due to different handling of
views/modules/settings alt_doc.php ended up without inclusion of the
scriptacolous libraries.

Does <strg>+u in your view reveal the needed
<script> Tags for prototype and scriptacolous?
