[TYPO3-irre] Make child elemtent depend on a value from parent element?

Hi

Im using IRRE in my extension to create child elements while editing the 
parent. The child element has numerous fields and some are of the type 
"select". Is it possible to manipulate the foreign_table_where based on 
a value set from the parent element?
