Hi David,

Solution 1:
Hack the code and then compile a patch from your changes. Regarding 
IRRE, the files in question are t3lib/jsfunc.inline.js and 
t3lib/class.t3lib_tceforms_inline.php. See 
http://typo3.org/development/bug-fixing/diff-and-patch/ on how to create 
  a patch and http://typo3.org/teams/core/core-mailinglist-rules/ on how 
to send it to get the patch integrated into the core.

Solution 2:
Pay Oliver to fix the bug. Probably the quickest way to get it fixed.
