[TYPO3-irre] Hide intermediate tables?

Hello,

don't know if this is related to IRRE at all, but when it comes to using 
intermediate tables for relations, they have that nasty habit of showing 
up in the list module too, when they shouldn't be edited directly.
Is there a way to hide those tables in the list module yet allowing 
users to add/change those records inline?
