[TYPO3-irre] Welcome & Future of Inline Relational Record Editing

Hi!

First of all: Welcome on the IRRE mailing list! :-)
This list can be used in future to ask about configuration possibilites
to achieve a special related structure for your extension or module.
Futhermore it is the base for discussions concerning further development
of Inline Relational Record Editing. Feel free to hand in your desire.

Next short-term tasks (in the next few days/weeks):
* Release of TYPO3 4.1-final including IRRE by the Core Team
* Release of the complete IRRE diploma thesis (first week in March 2007)
* Release of the "IRRE Tutorial" on TER (ext key: "irre_tutorial") [1]
* General update of the wiki page [2]

Long-term tasks (e.g. for TYPO3 4.2, 4.3, ...):
* If it makes sense, use IRRE for regular content elements (tt_content)
* Use IRRE for localizations (default=parent, translations=children)
* Allow FlexForms to use IRRE (currently missing & untestet)
* Workspaces & Versioning for IRRE (Dmitry is already working on it)
* Adjust Import-/Export (sysext tx_impexp) to work with IRRE
* Support the Extension Kickstarter on integration of IRRE [3]
* Support the Party Information Framework on implementing IRRE [4]

I will tell you the URL where to get the complete diploma thesis. I also
wrote an article in German for the "T3N Magazin" that will be published
in the next edition ("T3N Nr.7" 03/2007-05/2007) [5].

I am indebted to anyone supporting me in all respects to realise the
"Inline Relational Record Editing"! Thank you very much! :-)
