Hi Dirk,

even if a 500 Server error might be caused by the ExtensionBuilder,
the configuration for the logging is beyond the scope of the 
ExtensionBuilder. You have to figure out how to enable it on your 
system. It's not related to TYPO3 logging, but to PHP or Webserver 
configuration. For Apache it might be configured in a VirtualHost directive.
