[TYPO3-extbase-kickstarter] Extension Builder, insert Data via Selectboxes?!?

Hello,
i hope i'm into the right mailing list,
i want to develop a extension using the extension builder (extbase kickstarter),

i just generate some tables, for example a table "cars" and another table "categories".
there is a relation between car to category.

when i insert some data (insert a new car) i want to chose the car category (sport, family, jeep....) from a select box.
how can i do this?!?

using the old extension kickstarter this was done automatically when there was relation between two tables.

is this possible with the extension builder?
