Hi Mario,

please update your working copy. The issue with the missing Type 
annotation should be fixed in the latest commit.

Concerning the not saved books, it's probably related to extbase bug 
#13970: Do you see a flash message: "Your new ... was generated?" If not 
it's a caching issue see Task http://forge.typo3.org/issues/27102 .
