I just checked the versions of the Security Guide we have used so far. 
They are all related either to fixing bugs (e.g. typos) or to updates 
due to new TYPO3 CMS releases.

So, I would be more than happy to adapt TYPO3 CMS versions for "major" 
updates of the Security Guide and "no version updates" (silent hotfixes) 
for everything else.
