[Typo3-doc] [Typo3-design] EDITPANEL

Hi,



I am having some problems with editpanels. I want them to show up at the top 
of every page and under every content element -  But they are only placed 
under every content element, or not at all, depending on my template.



Is this a bug? I checked my template records and my templates and I don't 
understand how my standard template records could effect the behaviour of 
editpanels. After I installed Typo3.8 I followed the tutorial Modern 
Template Building precisely. That's the only thing I did with this Typo 
installation.



How can I control the behaviour of these panels? I want to be able to create 
new pages with the frontend without the admPanel - that only seems to work 
the panels that show up at the top of pages.



I cannot make sense of the TSref entry:

I put



config.admPanel=1



in the template record and



admPanel {

enable.edit = 1

hide = 1

module.edit {

forceDisplayFieldIcons = 1

forceDisplayIcons=1

forceNoPopup=1

}

}



in the user config field.
